Welcome to Main Street Pulaski… We’re Glad You’re Here!
When the people of Pulaski and Giles County speak of years gone by, Main Street Pulaski seems to be a recurring theme. The festivals, events, and good feelings of fellowship and fun right here on our beautiful and historic downtown square seem to call upon our memory like an old friend. So, it is not surprising that the City of Pulaski and the Giles County Chamber have come together to make Main Street Pulaski a reality for Pulaski and Giles County again.
Our first year has been a busy one! Our Main Street team and volunteers have accomplished so much! We proposed a streetscape project to the city of Pulaski (the board of Mayor and alderman unanimously voted to engage an architect and move forward with the project), we’ve had more people attending events than ever before, and Main Street Pulaski has received the designation of an official Tennessee Main Street. We’ve accomplished so much, but there is much more we hope to achieve.
While the city provides an appropriation to Main Street Pulaski, we count on the investments of businesses and individuals for Main Street to accomplish all the improvements you see (and those you may not) in and around historic downtown. Your support is critical to Main Street Pulaski as we work to make Pulaski the best place to live, work, play, and visit.
We hope you will be one of our “100 Friends!” The goal of this campaign is to identify one hundred friends of Main Street that will support us with at least one hundred dollars. Please consider joining the Main Street Pulaski family of donors and support our ability to put on great events like Here’s The Beef, Trick or Treat around the Square, A Square Christmas, Summer SOULstice, and even the farmer’s market. Each of these events has a direct impact on local businesses by supporting our local economy.
Your gift will also help us provide educational classes for local businesses, provide incentives for property improvements, enhance local festivals, create and maintain beautiful public spaces, development and recruitment restaurants and retail, and continue to improve upon this great downtown that we are all so proud to call ours.
